Primm’s long-running role as a busy state line stop for Southern Nevada and Southern California travelers is set to change dramatically by mid-summer.

Affinity Gaming announced plans to permanently close the Primm Valley Resort and its other properties on July 4. The closure includes the Primm Valley Casino and Resort, Buffalo Bill’s, Whiskey Pete’s, the Lotto Store, the Primm Center gas station and convenience store, and the Flying J truck stop. Affinity Gaming sent a notice on Wednesday to employees announcing the permanent closure.
